About Your Stay...
Herons Rest Bed & Breakfast offers three rooms to suit your needs. The owner, Ronn Buschmann, built this private addition to his home in 2006. He looks forward to providing you with a wonderful visit to Petersburg Alaska! Heron's Rest is located near the ferry terminal and is a short walk or bike ride from the heart of town. Herons Rest is an excellent home base for your fishing, ecotouring, hiking, or wildlife viewing adventure.
The Meadow Queen and Mountain Twin rooms are on the first floor, and are perfect for families or friends traveling together. The twin room has two twin beds. A bathroom is shared by these two rooms. The shared living and dining areas are also on this floor.
The Herons Suite is located on the second floor and has a queen bed and private bath as well as its own sitting area and television. The views are of Petersburg Mountain and the visiting herons, deer and natural landscape of the muskeg.
The accommodations are smoke and pet free. Heron's Rest offers complimentary bicycles, wireless internet, and satellite television, airport or ferry transfers, and breakfast each day in season. If you have special dietary needs, please make arrangements prior to your arrival. Planning your stay is important for a quality experience.
